About Leslie Pitcock

Leslie Ross Pitcock was a talented young artist with a bright future. Leslie was a devout Christian with a belief that all life is precious.

Leslie graduated high school with honors, and she went on to study Fashion Design at the University of Mississippi. There, she joined the Delta Delta sorority.

Tragically, Leslie perished in a car accident during her freshman year. Her loss pierced a hole in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Although Leslie was not able to realize her dreams, her parents, resolved to make it possible for others to follow theirs. In their daughter’s memory, Jim and Linda Pitcock created the Leslie R. Pitcock Scholarship Fund, which provides opportunity to new students every year.

As a token of appreciation, Jim and Linda have recognized the scholarship’s gracious donors by sharing copies of Leslie’s artworks.

Through her scholarship, we can continue to honor Leslie.
